Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management
Situated within the sprawling 143 acre Morgan State University Campus, this 138,000 gsf., higher education facility features Classrooms, Skills Laboratories, Offices, student assembly areas and Hospitality, and Food Service amenities that will be run, and managed by the students of the University’s Hospitality Management Program. Proposed to be built on a 9 acre site, the project’s external features include stone, terra cotta cladding, architectural glass, curtain walls and a unique green roof system.
As Associate Architects, the KPN Design Team provides the project team with critical creative and technical input as well as construction document production support. In addition, the KPN Team also works with the Maryland Correctional Enterprise (MCE), the University’s Facility Architecture and Engineering Department, and the various school departments in coordinating FF & E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) requirements and sourcing.
Estimated to cost over $50M, this project was completed in 2015.
