The 135,000 GSF Business and Management Complex (BMC) is the new home of the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management. This School is comprised of seven academic departments:
- Business Administration
- Information Science and Systems
- Hospitality Management
two outreach centers:
- Entrepreneurial Assistance & Development Center
- Center for Entrepreneurship and Strategy
and two additional academic programs underway:
- Project Management
Goals for the project include creating a physical identity for the School of Business and Management, promoting a sense of community that incorporates technology in state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories. The School emphasis collaboration and developing entrepreneurial relationships so the new building is designed to include lounge and meeting space for both formal and informal interactions among students and faculty.
This nine-acre project site at the northwest corner of Argonne Drive and Hillen Road represents the first Morgan State University academic building to be sited on the west side of Hillen Road. The master plan for this site, which is part of the design team’s scope, accomplishes the goals of the University by maximizing the development opportunities and establishing a strong presence for the BMC that allows the school to meet its core educational mission in a learning environment focused on scholarship and community partnership.
